SNAP-LINE: Innovation for Latches, Hinges, Fasteners and Handles,
The new SNAP-LINE by DIRAK range of products represents an innovation that offers customers special benefits in both convenience and cost. The SNAP-LINE products can be assembled without using tools, and open up entirely new application possibilities. SNAP-LINE, as an absolutely new concept unique in the enclosure industry, is reflected in special SNAP-LINE (SL) versions of products throughout the entire range of DIRAK’s product groups.
Hinges and Handles by DIRAK
Hinges by DIRAK are used on cabinet and enclosure doors, flaps and covers. DIRAK offers concealed SNAP-LINE hinges that allow the door to be quickly removed. In addition, DIRAK develops and produces torque hinges and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinges.
Hinges that should not be visible from the outside are mounted as concealed hinges on the inside of the door: DIRAK offers a very broad selection of concealed hinges for a wide variety of applications.
DIRAK produces robust, durable bridge handles, finger pull handles, rod handles and grip handles. Bridge handles made of plastic are available in two sizes that can be supplied for attachment with cylindrical, hex or countersink screws. Rod handles by DIRAK are available in various rod lengths.
Quarter-Turns and Swinghandles
DIRAK produces various quarter-turns for a wide variety of applications: key-lock cylinder quarter-turns, safety quarter-turns and a wide variety of compression latches, which due to their design, guarantee vibration-proof closure.
Swinghandles provide significantly greater latching torque compared to simple quarter-turns. The swinghandle latch is used on IT cabinets, for example, to provide professional closure. DIRAK also features the following swinghandles in its range of products: dual cylinder swinghandles, rod-latch swinghandles, pull handle slam latches and stainless steel swinghandles. DIRAK dual cylinder swinghandles with special security features have been tested to forced-entry resistance class WK2.
Rod-Latches and other Latches
Rod-latches ensure especially secure door closure. They are available, for example, as swinghandle rod-latches and simple handle rod-latches. The stainless steel rod-latch is also available as an additional variant. The rod-latch systems are suitable for use with either flat or round rods.
DIRAK manufactures various types of over center toggle latches and snap lock latches.
The range of latch products also includes a flush-mounted pull handle latch and a corrosion-resistant stainless steel slam latch. The quick release fastener is used to quickly assemble enclosure covers, side walls and rear walls.
Fasteners and Seals
Fasteners are used to join two sheet-metal panels. Fasteners from the SNAP-LINE are designed to join two sheet-metal panels, where one side of the joiner is fixed in one panel and the other side is removable from the other panel.
Flaps, doors and enclosure covers need good seals, particularly in industrial applications. Here again, DIRAK has developed just the right solutions. Conventional door sealing profiles made of PVC for mounting in sealing channels and self-adhesive sealing profiles combine the properties of edge protection profiles and sealing profiles. Rectangular profiles made of EPDM or Neoprene are also available. These seals are available as versions that are self-adhesive on one side and non-stretching.
